HOTLOCKS was founded by Nicholas Urban, Alison Lenert, Lisa Mattigan, Danielle King and Christopher Daniels in June of 2011. After tiring of hearing countless, self-described "experts" nominate the best new styles and trends, their goal was to develop a dynamic website that allowed the public to weigh-in. HOTLOCKS provides the opportunity for users to introduce new styles to others and critique a wide-range of existing styles on the site.
